Incontinence affects people from all walks of life, regardless of age, gender and social status. The involuntary voiding of urine during an activity or even at rest disturbs the normal functions of a person. This is not a disease in itself but a symptom of different urinary disorders often caused by weakening of the walls of the urethra, dysfunction of the urinary sphincter or prolapsed pelvic organ more prevalent in pregnant and overweight women.
