Army Underwear
What are the first few days of army bct like?and what do i bring?
I was told to bring personal items and extra underwear. why the underwear? And do they make us pay for the uniform on the spot or is it taken from our paycheck? Also will i be able to come home after BCT? my contract says i start ait 5 days after bct so where will i be?
The extra underwear and personal items is for hygiene purposes.
Uniforms are issued to you free of charge, and you are given a yearly stipend for new uniforms.
You will probably not be allowed to return home between BCT and AIT. You will have orders cut before you leave from BCT to tell you where you will go and when you need to be there.
